The All Armenian Orchestra (AAO) is an initiative of The Ministry of Culture of Armenia with the goal of unifying the Armenian nation under a renewed spirit and hope. This year we will see the participation of 90 professional musicians from 21 countries.
The All Armenian Orchestra’s logo is a phoenix, shaped as two 'H' letters of the Armenian alphabet, symbolizing the rebirth of Armenia out of the ashes of Genocide. As the triumphant phoenix, Armenia will rise again! This spirit will be omnipresent on April 24th, when the AAO performs a selection of works by top Armenian composers and demonstrates the global intellectual and creative potential of the Armenian nation.
Musicians will unite from around the globe for this performance from such orchestras as the: Bolshoi Theater Orchestra, Mikhailovsky Theatre Orchestra, Frankfurt Radio Symphony, Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra, Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra, IlluminArt Philharmonic Orchestra (Tokyo), Sinfonia Toronto, Portuguese Symphony Orchestra, La Monnaie Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre national de Lille, Lebanese Philharmonic Orchestra, Damascus Symphony Orchestra, Oviedo Filarmonía, Georgian National Opera and Ballet Theater of Tbilisi, Acapulco Philharmonic Orchestra, Guayaquil Symphony Orchestra, National Orchestra of Belgium, Orchestre national de France, Valencia Symphony Orchestra, Gewandhaus Orchester, and many others.
